Create-exchange is the main audio resource about collaborative arts in Ireland.

Create-Exchange is a new initiative from Create, the national development agency for collaborative arts in Ireland.

It is the first dedicated arts audio site in the Republic of Ireland. Create is committed to the promotion of collaborative arts practice and diverse ways of disseminating information about collaborative arts projects. The create- exchange audio site intention is to evidence the discussions that are taking place countrywide on the exciting work by artists working collaboratively with communities. Not only will the site feature audio from Create events but it will also contain audio from seminars and events nationally and internationally that focus on collaborative arts.

The audio content focuses on collaborative arts as a contemporary arts practice in Ireland and will feature arts practitioners, critics, curators and academics. The aim is to encourage discussion on collaborative arts that is part of broader critical debate on arts and culture and to afford artists who work collaboratively the opportunity to talk about the processes and the ideas that inspire them and inform their work; and also to encourage interaction between communities, members of the public, artists and cultural commentators. The site is designed so that visitors can access audio content in a variety of ways; by streaming from the website; downloading content to computer or MP3 player or subscribing to receive podcasts of the very latest discussion.
